Annual Service Plan Terms & Conditions
This Annual Service Plan (the Plan) is only applicable for a Traditional/Classic Lever/Espresso Machine (the Machine) aged from 6 months to up to 5 years, unless expressly agreed with Cortile Coffee Limited (the Company). The Customer means the person, persons, company or organisation taking out the Plan.
Bean to Cup Coffee Machines are not covered within this plan.
Prior to Acceptance into the Plan the machine must have been inspected/serviced by one of the Company’s Engineers for suitability.
The Plan is not transferable and will apply to the machine initially inspected and accepted by us.
During the Plan the Customer must use the machine in a careful and proper manner and comply with an rules and regulations regarding its use, maintenance, routine cleaning and storage as provided by the Manufacturer or advised by the Company.
The Company does not accept responsibility for any failure caused by circumstances outside their control, such as Acts of God, war, floods, abnormal weather conditions, fire, failure of electrical supply, Government action or regulation, delays or shortage of materials, labour or manufacturing facilities or failure or delay of the Company’s Suppliers.
3 month Parts Warranty applies to service parts fitted only and does not cover replacing any other parts.
Service parts will not be covered under the 3 month Parts Warranty plan if replacements are required for the below reasons:
- A poor-quality water supply or where water filters recommended by us have not been fitted at their stipulated intervals.
- The electricity or water supply has been interrupted.
- Damages caused by misuse, unauthorised modifications, accidents, natural disasters, or any other factors beyond normal wear and tear.
- The Plan does not include servicing control boards & PCB touch panel switches or heating elements.
- Replacement parts not included in the Plan for repairs.
Service requests can be made after the plan has been in existence for 9 months, and must be logged by telephone during Normal Working Hours, by calling 01656 530235 or by e-mail to service@cortilecoffee.co.uk. Otherwise, the Company will call the Customer after 10 months to arrange a service.
Service requests (and callouts for breakdowns and repairs which are not covered by the Plan) will be treated as a priority whilst the Customer is covered by the plan and will be attended to at the Company’s earliest convenience dependant on a suitably trained engineer being available to attend.
The commencement date of the Plan will be the date on the agreement provided by The Company which will need to be signed by an authorised signatory/representative of the Customer. The duration of the agreement will be agreed between the Customer and Company and confirmed in writing.
The Customer can opt-out of the Plan during 30 days of the Plan. Cancellation by the Customer after this period, must be acknowledged and confirmed by the Company within 30 days but there will be no repayment of any amounts paid under the Plan.
This Plan is not transferrable, and the Company reserves the right to immediately terminate the Plan if the Machine is sold or the Customer changes ownership or the Customer goes into receivership, an administrator is appointed, or the Customer becomes insolvent. The Company can terminate the Plan at any time for non payment of the agreed amount as the Customer is in breach of contract. The Customer has 28 days to put any grievance in writing as to why payment has been withheld.
The Company reserves the right to charge an early cancellation fee of £100.
Any variation by the Company or the Customer will need to be put in writing and agreed before implemented.
The Plan does not auto renew and comes to an end after 12 months.
The Company has in place Public and Professional Indemnity Insurance, certificate available on request.

I took my coffee machine in for repair with Richard in the Cortile workshop today. I expected the repair to take a view days however the guys turned it around for me in the day. The repair is very reasonably priced and Richard is absolutely passionate about the business and the service provided. He also showed me how to maintain the machine going forward, a complete star! Rich was very helpful and friendly. I called at around 6pm to ask about machine repairs, and he was with us by about 8pm and had the machine repaired by 9:30pm. Highly recommended!
